Paul doesn't hand the Galatians a list of behaviors to fake. He hands them a picture of an orchard, and underneath it, a war. Read the nine words in verses 22-23 slowly enough and you'll notice they sit right beside a verse most quote-cards leave out, the one that says the flesh and the Spirit are actively opposed to each other, right now, in you.
