A Prayer for Someone Struggling with Addiction
For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. The bottle, the pills, the pornography, the bets placed at two in the morning, the thing you keep starting again with tears still on your face from the last time it wrecked something.
